I am from Kokomo, Indiana and received bachelor degrees in Biotechnology and Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington in 2013. My current research involves studying the assembly of myosin and the structure of yeast spindle pole body proteins. Outside of the lab, I enjoy playing guitar and being active outdoors.

I grew up in Spofford, NH, and received my bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Middlebury College in 2013. I joined the Rayment Lab in December of 2013. My work is focused around creating improved enzymes that will be capable of detoxifying trichothecene mycotoxins, which are released by the fungus Fusarium, and are known to devastate cereal crops. Apart from research, I enjoy skiing, hiking, kayaking, and fishing.

I grew up in Columbia, Maryland and received a bachelors degree in Biological Chemistry from Bates College in 2015. My research focuses on several kinesin motor proteins. I am interested in how the structures of these proteins informs and affects their function and regulation. Outside of lab, I enjoy spending time at the terrace and competing for the UW Triathlon Team.
